Comments about "Science: Through Native American Eyes"

Cradleboard’s brand new interactive multimedia CD Rom “SCIENCE: Through Native American Eyes” for grades 5-Adult is receiving rave reviews from teachers, students and tribal colleges. The CD covers the principles of Sound, Friction and Lodges and includes 26 videos, an image library, an interactive animated traditional winter game called Snow Snake, and a Native American music jukebox. The CD is available beginning May 24 at the Cradleboard website or contact info@cradleboard.org

“I was really impressed with the fact that the CD did not allow the science to interfere with cultural things and didn't allow the cultural things to interfere with the science. It's really well-balanced. I'm looking forward to the next productions.”

Quote from Dr. Jack Barden, Tribal College Rural Systemic Initiative

“I have seen a lot of curriculum since I have been teaching, but nothing greater than this. I can actually relate to this curriculum more clearly than any other curriculum that I have evaluated. This CD boosted my confidence in becoming a teacher.”

Bellingham, Washington teacher candidate, Nancy Jo Bob

“I have found the CD ROM easy to use and easy to set up. I am quite a techno phobe but was able to navigate my way through the set up instructions with relative ease. I also enjoy that there is a genuine utilization of culturally relevant material to convey important scientific principles.”
